Does Quicken 2007 For Mac Work With Mojave
I have moved on from Quicken 2007 to the latest subscription version but I still have Quicken 2007 installed on my iMac now running Mojave. So I can tell you it does launch and appears to be okay but Quicken 2007 is no longer supported and is now 11 years old and Mojave does not guarantee full support of 32 bit apps. There is no confirmation that Quicken 2007 can handle APFS formatted volumes either. Mojave is also the last macOS version that will run 32 bit applications so sticking with Quicken 2007 is risky at best. Do you want to risk your financial data with an 11 year old piece of software that could stop working at any time with any update. If you have no intention of upgrading Quicken 2007 then I would strongly recommend that you just stay on the version of macOS you are now running. Your profile says you are running El Capitan. Is that correct?

Quicken 2007 For Mac Lion
April 2019 @MGM0 Quicken 2007 should continue to work as long as you commit to not advancing your macOS beyond the current Mojave. It will definitely not work on the next macOS Apple will rolls out this fall - so you should buy your new Mac before the fall when Apple starts shipping Macs with macOS. For some people what’s keeping them on Mojave is a single 32-bit app that will never be updated in an appropriate fashion. Quicken 2007 falls into this category as does the ScanSnap Manager app for the ScanSnap S1300, S1500, and S1500M scanners. Even with Mojave, you don't have to keep saving your work as you use Quicken. It is just if you wish to create a backup of your data file (say to store offsite), you have to do it manually. The problems you describe sound more like: 1) your actual data file is corrupt and losing data, or 2) you opened an older data file by accident.
